Aidan Flynn's floor routine at the 2016 Olympic games in Rio nearly secured him a bronze medal. It was the closest Ireland had come to a gymnastics win until Rhys McClenaghan's pommel horse skills took home the gold in 2024. At the time, though, Flynn was a national figure--and he quickly cashed in that bit of fame for the chance at a film career.

With his remarkable agility, he was a natural in front of the camera, except that he had fairly poor acting chops. In the end, Flynn's dreams of being a leading man had been reduced to stunt work on direct-to-video action films such as "Hunted Prey 4: Hawk's Revenge" and "The Legend of the Blood Moon" (starring Lou Diamond Phillips and Mario Van Peebles!).

Aidan was set to give up on the limelight until he was approached by EWA recruiters. While his thespian skills were not refined enough for the silver screen, his bravado and crowd-pleasing acrobatics made him perfectly suited to the ring. No one in the EWA loves playing to the crowd more, and though he has no official martial arts training, his stunt work experience means he knows how to take a punch and how to feign injury. Never count this daredevil out. He has a knack for springing back to life and taking it to those opponents who try to steal his thunder!
